FAQ
Questions people ask before they book
Delivery & area
Do you offer delivery?
Yes, delivery is available in the Pittsburgh area. Exact coverage: [DELIVERY POLICY, e.g. "we deliver within 25 miles of Brentwood"]. Tell us your venue address when you request a quote and we'll confirm delivery for your address before you commit to anything.
How far do you deliver?
[DELIVERY RADIUS, e.g. "up to 25 miles from Brentwood; further by arrangement"]. If you're not sure whether your venue is in range, send it over. We'd rather tell you straight away than have you wonder.
Is delivery free?
Delivery is quoted per event rather than advertised as free, because the cost depends on distance and the size of the order. [DELIVERY FEE, e.g. "$35 flat within 10 miles, then $2 per additional mile"]. Your quote will show the delivery charge as its own line so you can see exactly what you're paying for.
Do you deliver to churches, halls and community venues?
Yes. Church halls, fire halls, community centres, parks and school gyms are a regular part of the work, alongside private homes and backyards. Let us know if the venue has a loading door, stairs, an elevator, or a set delivery window, and we'll plan around it.
Do you deliver for weddings?
Yes. Weddings are usually booked further ahead than other events and often need a specific delivery window around the ceremony, so it helps to get your date on the calendar early. Tell us the ceremony time and venue rules when you request a quote and we'll work backwards from there.
Pricing
How much do chairs and tables cost?
Pricing depends on how many chairs and tables you need, how far the delivery is, and how long you're keeping them. Rather than publish a rate that turns out not to fit your event, we put together a written quote that itemises everything: rentals, delivery and pickup, so there are no surprises.
Is there a minimum rental quantity?
[MINIMUM ORDER, e.g. "25 chairs or 4 tables for delivery, no minimum for pickup"]. If your event is on the smaller side, ask anyway. It's a quick answer either way.
How do I pay, and is a deposit required?
[DEPOSIT POLICY, e.g. "a 25% deposit holds your date, balance due on delivery"]. Accepted payment: [PAYMENT METHODS, e.g. "cash, Venmo, Zelle or card"].
Booking & timing
How do I request a quote?
Use the quote form on this site. It takes about a minute. Tell us your event date, roughly how many guests you're expecting, where the event is, and what you think you need. If you're not sure on quantities, put your best guess; we'll sanity-check it against your guest count and suggest what usually works. You can also call, text or message us on social media if that's easier.
How far in advance should I book?
As a rule of thumb, the earlier the better. Summer weekends, graduation season and holiday weekends book up first. [RECOMMENDED LEAD TIME, e.g. "two to three weeks for most events, two to three months for weddings"]. Last-minute requests are still worth sending: if it's available, it's available.
How long is the rental period?
[RENTAL PERIOD, e.g. "a standard rental covers 24 hours; weekend rentals are dropped off Friday and collected Monday"]. If your event spans more than one day, say so on the quote form and we'll price the full window.
What happens if I need to change my order?
Guest counts move around, and that's normal. Better to tell us than to guess. [CHANGE AND CANCELLATION POLICY, e.g. "changes welcome up to 72 hours before delivery; deposits are refundable up to 14 days out"]. Get in touch as soon as you know and we'll do what we can.
On the day
Do you set up the chairs and tables?
[SETUP POLICY, e.g. "drop-off and stacking included; full setup and teardown available for an additional fee"]. Ask on the quote form if you'd like setup included so it can be priced in from the start.
Do you pick everything up afterwards?
Yes. Pickup is part of the arrangement, scheduled when you book so you know exactly when the truck is coming back. All we ask is that items are stacked roughly where they were dropped off and kept out of the rain if the weather turns.
What if it rains?
Chairs and tables handle a shower, but standing water and mud are hard on them and unpleasant for your guests. If the forecast looks bad, get in touch. We can talk through moving items under cover, shifting the delivery window, or what your options are for the date.
Who am I renting from?
[BUSINESS NAME] is a small, locally run event rental business serving the Pittsburgh area. You deal with the same people from the first message through to pickup, not a call centre. [OWNER INTRODUCTION: a sentence or two about who runs the business and how it started.]
Still have a question?
Ask us directly. There's no such thing as a daft question about event rentals.
